This is a repeating pattern and some of the preliminary drawings working up to the finished pattern. It was inspired by the Pink Naked Lady or Pink Amaryllis belladonna or Belladonna lily that blooms every summer here in Southern California and I have in my garden. I didn’t draw it accurately as it has sets of flowers across, as you can see in the photo below. This flower also has a lovely fresh fragrance. I’ve always loved this flower and had it for many years, but haven’t ever seen the bulb in stores.
