This is an image inspired by my love of old amusement parks. I remember going to Santa Cruz boardwalk as a child growing up. Old amusement parks had an aura of mystery with fortune tellers and dark rides. Little children and adults alike would enjoy the rides and the hand carved horses that were considered later to be works of great art with amazing carvings of mystical animals of all shapes and sizes. But everyone’s favorite are still the beautiful horses. The joy of a Carousel ride with the Amusement Parksjumpers, outside standers and spinning around to the sound of calliope music.
